Brianna Fallon - Interim Artistic Director
artisticdirector@mesaencoretheatre.com

Born and raised in Mesa, Arizona, Brianna Fallon (she/her) is honored to have been voted in as the Interim Artistic Director of Mesa Encore Theatre. Brianna grew up with a deep love for acting and performing but had limited opportunities to participate in theatre programs, only taking a few classes at East Valley Children's Theatre and the Mesa Arts Center during her adolescence. Despite these challenges, Brianna was determined to educate herself through volunteering, reading, and self-motivation.

At the age of 17, she wrote her first full-length play while still in high school. After graduating, Brianna studied acting at the Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre and continued her theatre education at Mesa Community College. During this time, she landed her first job teaching theatre at the Mesa Arts Center summer camps. Throughout her college years, she gained valuable experience by working in the scene shop, designing, stage managing the improv troupe "Scripts on Strike," and helping to revitalize the theatre club "Stagedoor Players."

Over the next several years, Brianna dedicated herself to growing as a Teaching Artist and Director. She accepted a year-long contract as an Actor Educator at CLIMB Theatre in Minnesota and, upon returning to Arizona, taught at several arts organizations, including The Musical Instrument Museum, Actor's Youth Theatre, Studio 3, Spotlight Youth Theatre, Childsplay, Mesa Arts Center, and East Valley Children's Theatre.

Brianna first ventured into arts administration when she became the Theatre Director at Experience Arts School, where she oversaw the theatre program and assisted with mainstage productions until the school closed its doors. During this time, she also completed a business class, where her applied project focused on an arts organization.

In 2018, Brianna joined Childsplay Inc., a professional TYA theatre in Tempe, as the Academy Associate. She has since been promoted to Academy Manager, where she oversees dozens of classes each year, hires 40 staff members, and serves nearly 1,000 students annually. Throughout this time, Brianna has taught herself graphic design, video editing, photography, Excel, sound design, and more.

Brianna makes her living through theatre and continues to direct, teach, perform, and design throughout the Valley. As Artistic Director of MET, Brianna aims to implement procedures that help artists succeed and ensure a harmonious and successful production process. She is a master facilitator and is committed to bringing the best performances of the best stories to the stage.
