Meet Shakespeare at MET

A workshop for youth ages 9-15  culminating in a production of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream

All workshops, rehearsals and performances will take place in the Black Box at Mesa Encore Theatre:

933 E. Main Street in Mesa.

Workshop/rehearsal sessions 1:00-4:00 PM Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 12-July 26*

Dress Rehearsals Tuesday, July 31st and Thursday, August 2 from 6:00-9:00 PM*

Performances: Friday, August 3rd at 7:00 PM

Saturday, August 4th at 2:00 pm and 6:00 PM

Admission to performances will be donations – suggested $10 per family

COST: $125

Special for siblings: each additional child only $95

Plus materials fee: $15 per child

INSTRUCTOR: Susan ‘Suze’ St. John is a certified Theatre Teacher with a great love of Shakespeare, and working with young actors. She currently teaches Theatre Arts at South Mountain High School. She will appearing in Flagstaff Shakespeare’s production of ‘Taming of the Shrew’ this summer.

*We know people tend to take vacations so participants will be allowed to miss 2 workshop sessions, but any children with lead roles must not miss the Dress Rehearsal dates.
