Sign up for a time to sing between 1 and 3 on Saturday afternoon, Feb 17th via the calendar below.
Prepare two Broadway tunes (16-32 bars each)
at least one big showstopper in the style of the artist who made it famous!
Bring a headshot (or any photo that looks like you) and resume
(or be prepared to list your past experience in acting and singing).
Auditions will be held in the back rehearsal room at 933 E. Main St. in Mesa.
Callbacks will be held on Monday, Feb 19th, 7-10 pm
Rehearsals begin Mon, Feb 26
Performances will be at the Farnsworth Studio Theatre in the Mesa Arts Center
Thurs-Sun (including Sat and Sun matinees) from April 6th – 22nd, for a total of 13 performances

Forbidden Broadway is a satire poking fun at the icons of Broadway – actors, composers, playwrights, characters, shows, even producers! A cast of 2 men and 2 women will re-create the most memorable moments and impersonate the stars of Broadway’s greatest hits. Auditioners must be strong singers with some skill at impersonation, with a vast knowledge of Broadway shows.

Chicago, Annie, Into the Woods, Hello Dolly, West Side Story, Wicked, Les Mis, Phantom, Mamma Mia, Rent, Spamalot, Cats, Fiddler, Hairspray, and A Chorus Line

Idina Menzel as Elphaba
