"Scrooge in Rouge" by Ricky Graham and Jefferson Turner
Dec 2 to Dec 18
Scrooge in Rouge is set in a raggedy theatre in England where the 20-member cast of “A Christmas Carol” has fallen victim to food poisoning the night before their performance. But as we all know “the show must go on” so the three remaining cast members unaffected by illness work hard to deliver a stellar show . The actors master a variety of gender roles while tackling more than 20 characters. The result is truly hilarious!
"The Waiting Room" by Lisa Loomer
Feb 3 to Feb 19
A dark, biting comedy about the lengths women have gone to in the name of being attractive to men, from footbinding in China to wearing corsets in Victorian England to modern day boob-jobs in America. Three women find themselves in a hellish waiting room to be treated by a modern doctor. Far from being a one-sided tirade, the play examines the complexity of modern medicine, chasing beauty ideals, and imbalanced male/female relationships. Come for the wicked humor, stay for the extraordinary characters. BUY TICKETS
"Circle Mirror Transformation" by Annie Baker
Apr 14 to Apr 30
When four lost New Englanders who enroll in Marty's six-week-long community-center drama class begin to experiment with harmless games, hearts are quietly torn apart, and tiny wars of epic proportions are waged and won. A beautifully crafted diorama, a petri dish in which we see, with hilarious detail and clarity, the antic sadness of a motley quintet.
"Reasons to be Pretty" by Neil LaBute
June 2 to June 18
A love story about the impossibility of love, REASONS TO BE PRETTY introduces us to Greg, who really, truly adores his girlfriend, Steph. Unfortunately, he also thinks she has a few physical imperfections, and when he casually mentions them, all hell breaks loose. A hopelessly romantic drama about the hopelessness of romance, REASONS TO BE PRETTY is a gorgeous play.
